The Lodge

Blackbuck Safari Lodge is situated near a picturesque hamlet surrounded by water bodies and farm lands. It is just a 10 minute drive from the lodge to the safari gate of Black Buck National Park-Velavadar. The park has pristine grassland where one can have glimpses of wolves, fox, jungle cats and hyenas. The park boasts of the highest number of the winter visiting raptors; the Harrier. Apart from Harriers one can view numerous grassland birds in winters. The beautiful grassland is also a breeding ground for Lesser Floricans in monsoon.

The Lodge, which is easily accessible from Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Rajkot, Anand and Bhavnagar, is an ideal location for wildlife enthusiasts, photographers and those keen to visit the park. The Lodge is spread over 4 acres of land, abundant in greenery, flora and fauna.

The cottages, tastefully decorated, stand amidst an attractive setting. Each cottage has a private sit out for those preferring a relaxed evening. The cottages have all the modern amenities with a touch of the local architecture. The gazebo facing a water pond is undoubtedly the most happening place in the resort. The pond is a haven for bird watchers and those interested can easily spend hours watching the activities around the water body. A cozy corner provides an area for a camp fire, which is ideal for chilly winter evening. The swimming pool is an added attraction for summer time. The dining area overlooks the pretty landscape of the resort and even provides an option of an outdoor area for breakfast and dinner.

The Lodge also has a conference hall with all the latest equipments and can seat 50 to 60 persons. It is a perfect destination for corporate and business conferences, in the lap of nature. For those wanting a luxurious experience ,the resort also provides an aesthetically designed spa, for guests wanting to pamper themselves after a safari in the park.

Multi-cuisine restaurant at Blackbuck Safari Lodge overlooks the pretty landscape of the lodge. Restaurant has a variety of authentic menu items spanning both international & local cuisines. The restaurant offers authentic Kathiawadi delicacies also. Freshness of produce is ensured as most of the vegetables and herbs are purchased from local farmers or grown in our organic garden. The outdoor dining area overlooks the pretty landscape, grasses & pond with cool breeze provides an amazing breakfast & dinner experience.
